IPL Acne
Acne, acne scarring and even occasional breakouts affect everyone at some stage of life. The many causes include hormonal changes, heredity, food intolerance, poor skin care or genetic tendencies. Having acne or breakouts can really affect one’s confidence.
Acne can include spots on the chin or full blown facial breakouts. The aim of treatment is to combat spots, fight infection, speed healing and prevent and reduce scar marks. IPL uses the power of fractional light energy delivered to the site of acne via small capillaries found in the skin. This produces a naturally occurring anti-bacterial action in the skin preventing bacteria from re-creating infection, reducing acne and its resulting scarring.

IPL Rosacea
Many clients report a reduction of skin redness after one just one treatment. Pulses of light energy are delivered to the skin in tiny bursts. This disperses redness and minor surface capillaries. Collagen boosting is a bonus benefit of IPL on all skin types. Skin collagen is boosted to reproduce. This makes the skin stronger and ensures that the delicate rosacea or sensitive skin type is more protected from damage. Overall skin condition is improved. We recommend a course of treatments ranging from 3-4 carried out over 4 week intervals depending on skin type.
The technology we use is non-invasive and recovery is quick –there may be some mild swelling and redness for a day or two but most will experience a very short recovery.
